Today I went on Savannah's Class trip with her to Corner's Corner Conservation Area. The colours were beautiful, crunch of autumn leaves underfoot, the air was crisp and cool...it made for a great class trip.

Supper was so yummy tonight...Roast and Potatoes. What excited me was that it tasted just like the ones that my mother-in-law used to make. Savannah was very giddy and it was humorous because I had no idea she loved roast and potatoes this much...she requested it to be her birthday meal.

I found Savannah reading to Addison and it was a sweet moment that I had to capture. It was pretty funny to read the title of the book though...Get Out of Bed! We usually have to say that to Savannah each morning :)

Caramel Popcorn Party at Heather's house...a bunch of ladies from church made it out for the evening to just chat and munch on the yummy popcorn that Heather made...it was nice to get together and just enjoy each other's company. Thanks Heather!

While the other kids were outside playing after school...the three teenagers were chilling on the coach watching a movie.

I prayed for a way for Mr. Kuiper (the other coach) to be able to make it to the soccer tournament. He couldn't make it on Tuesday because of school. Well God answered my prayers in a way I hadn't even thought of...Yesterday, the soccer tournament was postponed due to fog. Today was a beautiful day and we were all off to the tournament. The kids played hard and ended with two losses and a tie. It was great to see the kids learning as we moved through the day. Can't wait to see how they progress next year.

Day 276 - October 3, 2013

My mom started radiation today in London so my parents decided to stay over night for the first night. (Thanks Kim for letting them sleep at your house.) The kids playing Rummikub with Grandpa and Grandma.

Day 277 - October 4, 2013

This may seem like an odd picture but I have been waiting for this garbage can to come back in stock at Costco. I made the decision to get it and have the garbage out (not under the kitchen sink) so everyone would be much more aware when they miss while throwing something in the garbage. If you miss the garbage now, you'll see that you missed and hopefully pick it back up and try again..hoping this will help :)

It poured so hard on the way home from my parents house. Mark kindly took in a lot of our stuff...he barely got wet with the umbrella.

Every since Chicago, Kim and I had this thing for Chicago Mix popcorn...they have this kind at Costco...yummm! We need to get some more tomorrow when we go.

Alex was so excited to leave for New Jersey to visit his aunt, uncle and cousins. Alex went along with Oma and Opa and he is having a great time there.

The pantry got emptied out and Mark got to work on fixing the shelves that have been coming lose for a long time. I am so excited that he could get it done before they completely fell down. I will take a picture of the finished product another day.
