While cleaning her room, Savannah found a few stuffed animals she was going to give away. Pumpkin seemed to love the little Webkinz. Pumpkin wrestles and plays with it.

Mark came back from a business trip today and he happened to make a stop at one of my favourite restaurants...Chick-fil-a. Thanks Mark for bringing me a treat home!!

Day 186 - July 5, 2014
Kim and I went with Savannah to the Provincial Ball Hockey tournament in Belleville. The team played hard and had a lot of fun. Savannah was especially excited when she got to play with her cousin Keegan and season line mate, Brandon.
Mark and the boys went to the Provincial Ball Hockey tournament in Kitchener/Waterloo. I didn't get too many pictures as we were away with Savannah. After finishing up on Saturday, we raced from Belleville to catch the boys last game.

Alex was pretty excited when the delivery man came to the door today. Alex has been saving his money for a long time to get his very own laptop...he can't wait to start using it.

Pumpkin is growing a lot...he's probably twice the size as he was when we got him. I love to pick him up and cuddle him.

Carsten and Mark love ribs and they were super excited to go St. Thomas Ribfest...and they enjoyed it. The rest of us loved other food :) It was fun to meet up with Soomin too.

Day 196 - July 15, 2014
The first day here Savannah and I fed a chipmunk by hand and by Tuesday he seemed to be my dad's little friend. He hand fed Chippy and then Chippy made himself right at home. He climbed Dad's leg and sat in the bowl of peanuts on his lap.

Lots more fun with bocce ball, puzzles, volleyball and the triathlon for the younger kids...and the kids couldn't help but love to dig into the last of the Kawartha Dairy ice cream.

A trip to Bobcaygeon was in order but after getting back, we headed out for lots of tubing fun...

Lots of board and card games after program today. Apples to Apples is always a lot of fun. Carsten who has been nursing a sore shoulder went to ER to get it checked out...He came back with a sling and a AC sprain from tubing and ending up on the bottom of the pile of tubers. A sleepover with Cailyn, Abby and Maya ended the day.

I didn't really take pictures today but we enjoyed hearing Rev. Benji Devadason at church today. I think I have enough pictures though for the two weeks we were at Elim. I found a picture of the chapel and will just use this.
Day 202 - July 21, 2014
Skiing, wake boarding, tubing and beach time were a big part of today. We ended the day with a fishing trip.

Day 203 - July 22, 2014
Off to the Flea Market today to pickup the PJs for Savannah and her doll. After youth program was done we tubed out to the rope and the sandbar. We had a campfire with smores and another sleepover with Ava, Jaelyn, Addison and Savannah.
Day 204 - July 23, 2014
Quadramarathon for the big kids today...Brian Roffel swam, Brian Koomans and I canoed, Alex biked and a friend from youth ran. We came in 2nd place behind 1st place by a few seconds.
Day 205 - July 24, 2014
Started the day with the beautiful sunrise over the lake...I never really tire of this view. I love playing shuffleboard with my parents too and today was the day we got to do that.
Day 206 - July 25, 2014
We enjoyed a couple visitors today and got a few pictures of Kelly Grace...she is an absolute dream baby. I also loved the heron at the end of the dock. Two flew right by our cottage but by the time I got the camera out, I got a picture of the one.
Day 207 - July 26, 2014
It's a little sad when we leave Elim and head home. I love the time spent with friends and family for a time of spiritual and physical refreshment. On the way home Mark thought it would be nice to stop at the American Girl store in Toronto because Savannah has been saving her money...she was thrilled to get the wheelchair for her doll.

It's good to be back home...we checked the garden and we were happy to find a few veggies to eat.

Mark thought that Pumpkin needed something to occupy his time...so he downloaded a game for him on the iPad.

We were happy to join some of our cousins for some time at the Children's Museum with a late lunch at Opa and Oma's house.

Garage Sales have been fun lately...what will we find tomorrow? I have been finding some great Build-a-Bear stuff lately.
Awesome that Alex got his own laptop! It'll come in handy when he's at PRC :)
