WEEK 50 ~ DECEMBER 10-16, 2015

As December rolls along, there were more fun things to do and take in. The boys had a PD Day to get ready for Banquet...I'm not sure the boys really needed all day to get ready but they had fun hanging out :) I saw a Grade 10 picture on Facebook but didn't see Grade 9 :(

Savannah's school also had their Christmas program, "Let There Be Light" and it was a blessing to see the kids give glory to God for the greatest gift ever given.

While spending time with Mom this week, it was neat to catch Mom sharing a secret and a laugh with Kim. So thankful for Kim who lovingly helps care for Mom and has helped us so much on this journey.

The new couch arrived...only for us to realize the wrong couch was ordered and the on sale cabinet arrived a little bit damaged but they will bring the other pieces to fix...Reordered the couch and it should arrive soon (or so they said).

Logan was having a rough time this week and was admitted to the hospital but later discharged...

Logan was admitted to PCCU last night after he spiked a fever, his heart rate was dangerously high and he was vomiting non-stop. Although chest X-rays so far have been clear, he is being treated for aspiration pneumonia and they are closely monitoring his heart rate and oxygen levels. Aside from the likely aspirating last night, the assumption is he caught the bug that has been going through their house. Because he was admitted right away and treatments were started before he actually 'has' anything, we are hopeful that it will be a very short stay and he can come home soon!

Logan Update
Although Logan has a cold and a GI bug, his heart rate has stabilized and his chest x-rays are clear so he was discharged this evening ðŸ˜ƒ to finish recovering at home - at this point there is nothing they are doing at the hospital that cannot be done at home. We are very thankful that the virus was 'caught' early and he was able to return home after such a short hospital stay!
