This Tuesday Savannah's ice cream shop was under new management for the day ... I had fun making the ice cream creations ;)
Day 233 - August 21, 2013
I have had some problems with my ankle and listening to Dr. decided to get a balance board...hopefully it'll help. The kids love playing on it.
Day 234 - August 22, 2013
Here's a picture of the programs we finished up for Melissa and Kyle's upcoming wedding...nails done for the wedding, hair cut and highlighted too today.
Day 235 - August 23, 2013
TJ Stables all set up for the wedding tomorrow.
Day 236 - August 24, 2013
The Big Day is here!!! Melissa and Kyle said their vows this afternoon and it was a beautiful ceremony. We wish them the best as they begin their married life. Since I was in the wedding, I didn't really get to take pictures. So here is a few I grabbed from facebook and my iPhone.

Savannah had her hair done for the wedding yesterday but it didn't quite last the day...so I redid it for church this morning.
Day 238 - August 26, 2013
The Christian Singers band rocking out in Kim's Basement. Kim found a set of drums and a guitar recently...can I say it made the kids day??
Day 239 - August 27, 2013
Sunday we left Alex in Chatham to help out Grandma but we took Abby back with us. The girls got the mail for me today which I hadn't gotten in a few days and they were ecstatic to find an American Girl Catalog...needless to say this is how I found them for a while ;)
Day 240 - August 28, 2013
This was the week that we wanted to get in some relaxing fun after a busy summer with Holland, Elim, VBS, Mel & Kyle's wedding...so today we did what Savannah had requested...a REAL picnic. Kim and I set out to make it happen. We went to Sand Hills Park and enjoyed a lovely picnic, playing at the park, climbing the sand hills and playing in the lake. We had lots of good company. Thanks for helping Savannah's dream become a reality Kim!
Our picnic
Addison, Cailyn, Savannah, Abby, Jared, Rowan and Carsten
Sand Hill jumping
While we enjoyed our time with friends and family, we remembered those who were mourning the loss of a loved one. Carsten and I visited the funeral home this evening to support the Korvemaker family. While I never had the privilege of meeting Rev. Al Korvemaker, Carsten and Alex played soccer this summer with his daughter Deanne and I enjoyed talking with his wife, Alice, while we watched our kids play. We pray that God will grant comfort as they bury their husband and father tomorrow.
Day 241 - August 29, 2013
Today was super fun as we had Alex join us again and we went to Clovermead Apiaries with Rosemary, Jessica, Scott, Abby, Jenny, Jaelyn and Ava. There's a few more pics today as well because when you go to a place with 15 people...you have waaaaaay to many pictures to choose from.
Jenny and I didn't make it in as the picture the kind lady took for us was no where on the camera card :(
If you ever need a place to have some great family fun...I highly recommend this place! It is awesome!! From rope swings to the tractor tire climb to Pedal Go-Carts to the ole stocks, to the giant jumping pillow to the zip line to even holding a bee...the kids (and adults too) had so much fun!!!
