WEEK 40 ~ SEPTEMBER 30-OCTOBER 6, 2016

Clovermead Farm Manager and life-line to Jordan, hosted a Celebration of Jordan's Life Ceremony at his home. Keith W Sinke invited family, co-workers, and friends over to talk & release their feelings. 100 Chinese Lanterns & prayers(for no fires) were sent up at dusk. They shared the video on their Facebook page so please check out their video and if you feel pain and darkness, please talk to someone...1-800-273-8255 (National Hotline)...there is no shame.

I wanted to share another song that brought comfort this week. He Will Hold me Fast by the Getty's

Kim, the kids and I enjoyed the Sparta Scarecrow Fall Festival and a stop at a really neat store (The Harvest Table Rustic Designs) on the way home. One of our favourite vendors at the festival was Pook...super cool plaid hats, mitts, and stuff and we also enjoyed the museum too. Thanks Mark for hanging the stars I found right away :)

Mark and I celebrated our 17th Anniversary this week and we enjoyed lunch date to celebrate on Monday. Looking back at pictures, we looked so young.

I used to do puzzles and have recently rekindled the love/hate relationship of puzzles...start a puzzle but then have a couple of really late nights because I just want to put in a couple more pieces...I love doing puzzles and chatting with people as we work away the puzzle. It's especially nice to do a puzzle while watching the Jays play baseball in October!

Along with lots of the regular day to day activities...soccer practice, baby shower, elder's meeting, orthodontist appointment, piano lessons, mission trip meeting, we were blessed with a beautiful day and good attitudes for the school's soccer tournament. I love how people come together to make things possible...from coaching with Steve and Carsten to Kim taking pictures for the yearbook to the parents who drove us to the field...Thank you!
