Week 52 ~ December 23-31, 2016 (Part 1)

The last week of 2016 was full of excitement as school finished up and we had a couple more Christmas parties where we were able to spend time with family and friends.

With only a half day of school for Savannah, we had lots of pictures to take for the yearbook with Ugly Sweater Day, Snow, Door decorating, school fun and of course the school skate. I think the last ugly sweater picture should take first prize ;)

Lots of excitement buzzing around the school on the last day...while there is no perfect school, our school sure is great!

School skates are always so much fun as teachers, students, parents and siblings break out the skates...from zipping around the ice to lots of slipping and sliding...priceless Canadian fun.

Following the school skate, we rushed over to the mall to catch the boys school singing...It was beautiful to hear the staff and students witness to those shopping around them.

One of our favourite nurses at VV has stolen a place in Kim and my hearts...but also Andrew, Olivia and Logan's. We are so thankful for the kindness she has always shown to us, as well as Mark's mom. We love you Grammy Pammy!!

After coming back from our VV visit with Oma and Grammy Pammy, Mark greeted us with a delicious supper for us to enjoy. Wow, it was sooo yummy...Mark is a great cook!!

The first day of Christmas Break, Savannah and I crafted some jumps for her horses. Super fun now as we can have horse jumping competitions :)

Growing up, my parents always did stockings for us and they still do to this day. I wanted this tradition too as it is a lot of fun. So after church, we all came back to our house and opened our stockings :)

Mark did a great job of making some admit passes that he put in stockings. Savannah and I went to work adding our new stickers to our hockey albums...I got the Red Wing page and Stanley Cup page completed! Nerf bullets in everyones stockings meant a nerf war erupted. We also worked on the many puzzles that came out over the Christmas Break.
