WEEK 1 ~ JANUARY 1-7, 2016

We were all a little too excited after ringing in the new year to go to bed right away so we enjoyed a little more fun...an indoor snowball fight, little more food, and figuring out how Logan's standing frame works, etc

I was super excited to see the Holland scrapbooks I made of our trip arrive...I love how the books turned out! Savannah's Christmas ornament also arrived.

We tried to take it easy in our last couple of days before we had to get back into regular school and work routines...games, sports, movies, and even hiding away for a nap, right Rowan?

School resumed and the schedules picked up all too quickly with orthodontists appointments, sports practices, and a care conference for Mark's mom. We also celebrated my birthday and it was nice to wake up to one of Mark's famous birthday greetings.

Logan Update...
Logan was admitted to the hospital last night with respiratory distress. His chest x-rays are clear which rules out pneumonia at this point but white blood count is high indicating an infection which they are treating with antibiotics while they wait for cultures to come back. He does have a cold and is teething both of which are adding to his congestion and laboured breathing, so right now the plan is for him to spend a couple of days in the hospital until his breathing improves and for continued observation.

While we have no idea what this year will hold for all of us, I am so thankful that we know who holds us in His hands.
