Savannah's allergies hit her hard the day before Field Day with a fever, runny nose and just feeling plain miserable. Advil for her again in the morning and off we went to Track & Field Day. Carsten came along to help run the Ball Throw and Shot Put events. Kim, Logan and I cheered Savannah and friends on all day long and we also got lots of pictures for the yearbook. This year we ended the day with Kawartha Dairy ice cream cones for a job well done.

Standing Triple - 1st - 4.80m
Ball Throw - 1st
75m Dash - 2nd - 12.82 sec
400m - 2nd
800m - 1st
High Jump - 1st - 1.17m
Mark left for a business trip to Charlotte and with the changing times Facetime can make it easier while Mark's away...I think Alex even got some homework help from Mark one night.
We kept busy to pass the time and the Toronto Zoo on Victoria Day was a big highlight especially since we hadn't gone in a long time. I know some people don't like zoos but it really is neat to be able to actually see animals you would likely never see in real life. We had a great time at the zoo!
So happy we got the trampoline because it kept the kids bouncing all week...well worth it's money :)
We were happy that Stella found her new home but sad that we were going to have to let her go. The next day we found a snail and we determined since it's an outdoor "pet" we could keep it. Check him out.
