WEEK 24 ~ JUNE 10-16, 2016

The month of June always seems soooo busy....Just in Savannah's school alone we had Hawaiian Day, Team pictures, African Lion Safari trip and trying to get pictures of kids that I don't have yet for the yearbook.

Several kids from our school were chosen as the helper in the shows. Savannah was fortunate enough to be chosen during the elephant show...the elephant picked up a toonie with his trunk and gave it back to Savannah.

The boys were asked to play for Joan's Recital night and they were happy to give it a go. They played Behold our God together and Carsten played a song alone even though he has not taken lessons in quite a while.

Saturday mornings are a great day to get up and go garage sailing/sale-ing/saling (ever wonder how to spell that word?)...Anyways, we have gone to quite a few already this summer and this weekend it was Rosy Rhubarb which means lots of garage sales and lots of treasure hunting fun...

The question I seem to get asked when I find a good deal...where are you going to put it? Even Savannah asks me now :)

Rosy Rhubarb started like most garage sale Saturdays...trying to figure out which sales to go to and the shortest possible route...sometimes we follow it and sometimes we go with the flow.

This had to be some of the best garage sale finds that we didn't take home...

After all this excitement, we had more coming our way with our Sunday School Picnic. The weather was great and it was a lot of fun! We can't wait til next years :)

It's nice to have a visit with Oma, where we can take a little break from the rushing around busyness of June...I love the special relationship that Logan and Oma have :)
