The Sunday School Picnic took place and it was a good time of games, food, and fellowship with the members of our church. We were also able to bring Mark's mom and she was able to meet her newest great granddaughter.
Lots of other highlights happened during this week...Savannah had a great time on a class trip to Twin Valley Zoo and a nearby park.
Kim and I had Savannah skip a day of school so we could go shopping in the US at Hobby Lobby for decor for her room makeover. Shopping at some of the department stores and goofing around while we shopped left Savannah looking bewildered :D We also enjoyed lunch at the Golden Corral...and who wouldn't when you have cotton candy and a chocolate fountain that big? Add in a little chocolate art with the leftover chocolate on your plate...a perfect day off :)
Carsten had been talking about executing the best prank on his principal all year. So it was with some help that Mr. Schouten's chair was hoisted into the basketball net. All involved were very pleased with the result and the reaction :D
