Summertime fun is having cousins visit and before you know it...a big sleepover is in the plans. 

 The girls joined Kim and I on errands to the mall. Savannah was very excited to finally have saved enough money to buy herself a Jays jersey and she put her favourite player on the back...Kevin Pillar

Plans, prayers and preparation were well underway for Summer Boys & Girls Club (aka VBS). Canvassing is always quite the task but fun when you keep your eye for the most unusual mailbox...I think I found it! It was also nice to have some help delivering the 2000+ flyers...thanks Kim, Savannah, Cailyn and Claire, Mark, Alex and Carsten!

August is SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) Awareness month and someone I love needs a cure...Logan. I had never really heard of SMA before Logan was diagnosed. SMA is a disease that robs people of physical strength by affecting the motor nerve cells in the spinal cord,  taking away the ability to walk, eat or breathe.
