WEEK 43 ~ OCTOBER 22-28, 2015

Fall Fair game prep, bible Study, appointments, errands, volleyball practice were all in the mix this week, but a nice addition was Mark's sister, Carol, who came down for a visit. We were even able to take Mom out to lunch with Carol. We also had a nice time at Jim and Audrey's visiting after church on Sunday.

It is great when the kids choose to do something other than electronics...whether it be building Lego or outside practicing soccer...it's a nice break :)

Band practice happens outside right now and I overheard a funny quip from Cailyn, "Don't worry Savannah, if you pass out, I'll catch your french horn"

Salad Dressing Spirit Day...Ranch and Catalina...hey, they didn't have to wear a uniform LOL

I guess the van was not quite fixed yet...a couple more lights came on while picking the kids up after school. Huge thanks to Kim and Cam for helping me get the lights off so I could get home.

Add in some exciting baseball this week...

It was good to have Andrew visit us too as Logan is still in the hospital. Here's the update:
Logan remains in isolation in Victoria Hospital however he is feeling much better and is not nearly as congested so all teams involved in his care have agreed that he is strong/well enough for surgery to get his g-tube tomorrow at noon.
Following surgery Logan will likely be transferred to PCCU (paediatric critical care) for observation and to trial a bipap machine which they hope to send him home with (for sleeping at nights). Logan is still struggling to clear his lungs at times so will also require a suctioning machine at home prior to discharge.
If all goes as planned and they are able to get everything in place, Logan will hopefully be discharged next week :)
Thank you for your continued prayers for Logan (and John & Amanda, Andrew & Olivia) and all the support everyone is giving the whole family!
